A Desert Elopement in Mesa, Arizona

As a photographer, I have learned to capture the special moments in people’s lives; from an intimate couple’s photo session, to an engagement session, to wedding day festivities, and even graduation events! Capturing special moments is what I love to do, especially when it entails capturing a unique love shared between an intimate couple.

Reminiscing back to 2021, I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the chemistry between these two love birds, Janelle & Richie. These two love birds eloped in April, 2021. Their elopement contained a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their parents, followed by a small family dinner.

A month later, we adventured out onto the desert for these amazing elopement styled wedding photos! Just look at the way they are in awe of each other! From soft whispers of “I love you” to the jokes that end in laughter, their love is definitely one of a kind. Janelle and Richie have always supported each other through their ups and downs, through their valleys and mountains. They are each other’s rocks, and is this not what love is all about?

As stated in the bible, love is patient and kind. It does not envy, boast, nor is it proud. Instead, love always protects, trusts, hopes, perseveres, and love never fails (1 Cor. 13:4-8 NIV). These are one of the most quoted verses in the bible. Let me tell you, Janelle and Richie are definitely prime examples of these. Looking back at our session, I can still feel their affection for each other radiate!
