Cara and Tim’s love story took a beautiful turn when they said “I do” on January 1st at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Arizona. Cara and Tim first met during Covid and their love story began. Between their silly laughs and smiles that could light the room up, it was evident that they are meant to be! They picked Southern Sand Dunes Golf Club as their elopement venue as most of their date nights included golf. So, what better way to seal their love at the resort that grew it?

Their ceremony was a short but meaningful affair, officiated by a close friend of the couple. I had the honor of being a witness to their union and capturing their special day through my lens as a wedding photographer. This was the perfect start to the year!

The Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club, located in Maricopa, Arizona, is a stunning venue featuring rolling green fairways and breathtaking mountain views. It was the perfect setting for Cara and Tim’s intimate and romantic elopement. Despite the rainy weather, the rain stopped just in time for the couple to exchange their vows and capture some beautiful husband and wife portraits.

Cara looked radiant in a simple but elegant white dress, while Tim looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo. The couple exchanged handwritten vows, and their love and commitment to each other was palpable. It was a truly moving and beautiful ceremony.

After the ceremony, we took some stunning husband and wife portraits around the golf club grounds. The rainy weather provided a romantic and moody atmosphere, and the rain stopped just in time for us to capture some beautiful images of the newlyweds. It was truly magical and a perfect start to 2023!
