When you are meant to be with someone, no matter what you do or how hard you try, fate will bring you together. In our everyday life, we encounter hundreds of people. We exchange smiles or even hello’s. Sometimes the person that we’re meant to be with has been in our lives all along. This is exactly how it was for Ashley and Joe. Okay, how freaking epic is that!!! I’m already screaming for this one y’all!
Fate brought Ashley and Joe together after many years of being friends. This is one of the cutest things ever (insert more squealing). From high-school through college, being together was never on their agenda. Being in the same room as these two, you’ll know right away that they are meant to be! From their contagious smiles to the chemistry between their looks, their love for each other is expressed loudly.
They chose Boyce Thompson Arboretum as the location for their engagement portraits and the location is a perfect match for their personality. From camping to kayaking the Colorado River, these two enjoy the thrill of adventuring and spending time with each other. Boyce Thompson Arboretum offered the perfect scenery and landscape that captures Ashley and Joe’s love and passion for one another! From a variety of desert vegetation to the various rock formations, their engagement photos turned out epic (keep scrolling, you won’t regret it)!
It was a sunny and cool day on their engagement session, which offered the perfect weather to explore the Arboretum. As the sun began to set behind the trees and mountains, we received absolute perfect lighting! This was my first time shooting at Boyce Thompson Arboretum and I would definitely return for more sessions! Shooting right before sunset is always the key and the Arboretum delivered.
Ashley and Joe are one of the most thoughtful and sweetest people I’ve met! Their wedding in March will be the highlight of the year! Ashley and Joe, congratulations on this new adventure together! Imagine, the next time we see each other will be on your wedding day!!!
XO,
Justine Grace
